Mentors' Day at Chester - Driving Mobility

Mentors’ Day at Chester

Team training for supporting our students

In order to support our staff undertaking the course in Outdoor Mobility our team of Mentors spent last Thursday at the University of Chester being guided in how to work as a volunteer Mentor for students in their Centre. In the main picture they seem to be having a lot of fun whilst in this one they are listening to Bob Meakin who is the academic who leads the course.

Afterwards he had this to say:

“What a great day!  What a great group of people!  It was most rewarding to set the foundation stones for this new initiative and particularly to note the interest and commitment of your colleagues to the continuing development of our programme.  Thanks, once again, for all the hard work and commitment shown by you and our excellent Associate Tutor team, both past and present.

Please keep me in touch with developments and pass on my very best wishes to all who attended today”.
