In this month’s ‘Driving Mobility Centre of the Month’ we say hello to the team at North East Drive Mobility in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Following the successful pilot of its ‘HUBs’ accessible travel information service, Driving Mobility is delighted to be continuing this initiative for non-drivers thanks to a share of funding from the UK Government who today announced a £2.5 million package to support disabled people.
To strengthen guidance and information for drivers with disabilities, Driving Mobility, a charity operating driving assessment centres nationally, will be supporting more closely relevant activities of the charity Disabled Motoring UK (DMUK).
Organised by the William Merritt Centre, the event will give options and advice on Assistive Technology, Equipment and Driving for disabled people of all ages.
