Driving Mobility to help enable young disabled drivers and passengers at Kidz to Adultz North

Driving Mobility, the charity that provides driving and mobility assessments for all ages, will be supporting a MERU seminar at Kidz Wales which highlights its free Bugzi powerchair loan service.

Funded by The Department for Transport, Driving Mobility has successfully held its first training day for mobility scooter and powered wheelchair retailers so road safety can be improved for all.

With support from The Department for Transport, Driving Mobility has held a Westminster launch event announcing its new PWMS training scheme for mobility scooter and powered wheelchair retailers.

With funding from the Government, the charity Driving Mobility is introducing new training for staff at mobility scooter and powered wheelchair showrooms so more customers buy products that they can drive safely.

Driving Mobility is delighted to announce that they will be formally launching a new PWMS Retailers’ Training Scheme, supported by the Department of Transport (DfT), at an event being held at an event in London in June 2023.

It is with great sadness that we have to report that Wessex DriveAbility, with its main centre in Southampton and outreach centres at Salisbury, Basingstoke and Ferndown, will cease operations on 31st March 2023. This closure is primarily due to the prevailing economic conditions.
